ALÓNI is a family-run olive oil
brand rooted in Neochori, Messinia.
For centuries, the hills and valleys of Messinia have been home to ancient olive trees, some standing for over 1,000 years, producing olives of exceptional quality.
100% Koroneiki olives
We produce a monovarietal extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) from 100% Koroneiki olives — harvested in Neochori, Messinia, a small village nestled in the fertile lands of Messinia, one of Greece’s most historic and renowned olive-growing regions.
In Greek, αλώνι means threshing
floor — a circular clearing where grain was once separated from chaff.
When our grandparents first cultivated the land in Neochori, each olive grove was named and passed down through individual branches of the family.
Only one field, the αλώνι stood apart. It was the one field that belonged to everyone in the family — a shared space where the whole family gathered to harvest, to prepare amd to pause.
Today, ALÓNI carries that spirit forward: a place where tradition meets presence.
"Once a year, the olive oil brought us back to each other. No matter the distance, we gathered — as a family, in the grove."
We are a third-generation family olive growers — two of those also chemists.
Today, ALÓNI is led by the third generation, with the (grand)daughter leading the way—bringing a fresh perspective shaped by science, creativity, and a vision for the future. At her side is her father, whose decades of hands-on wisdom from the olive groves ground the project in authenticity.
Rooted in tradition and driven by purpose, ALÓNI bridges generations.
